Tuan graduated from Hue College of Art.  Tuan is a colourist and has a mastery of unforgettable colour combinations and striking contrasts.  There is nothing quiet about his work.

 

In recent years he has been painting the meadows, beaches and urban scenes of his local landscapes. He captures moody light, big skies and characteristic buildings of Central Vietnam. His portraits are emotional, his nudes are challenging. There is deep feeling in every brush stroke he makes. You can almost feel his presence when next to one of his canvasses.
